What we collect,
and what we don’t.

A short summary of what The Drawline collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple and only collect what we need to run the site and send the things you ask for.

Who this covers

This policy covers thedrawline.com and every tool it hosts (Studio Survival, Panic Mode, Leak Calculator, Client Zoning, Studio Audit, Script Vault). If you contact us, sign up for anything, or play one of the games, this is how we handle your information.

02 — Section

What we collect

We only collect what we need to run the site and send the things you ask for.

  • Newsletter and footer signup: first name and email.
  • Studio Survival and Panic Mode results: the name you enter, your email (if you choose to get your action plan by email), your final stats, archetype, and a share ID. We also log device type and referrer for analytics.
  • Script Vault access: first name and email.
  • Contact and scheduling: anything you enter in the contact form or on the Cal.com booking page.
  • Leak Calculator and Studio Audit: the inputs you submit and, if you opt in to receive your results by email, your email address.
  • Cookies: a consent cookie for analytics preferences and, if you unlock the Script Vault, an svt cookie so you don't have to enter your email again.
  • Server logs: standard request data (IP, user agent, path) kept short-term for abuse prevention and debugging.

We do not collect payment details on this site. Project billing is handled separately.

How we use it

  • Send the email you signed up for (newsletter, your game results, Script Vault welcome, or a requested report).
  • Save your game result so the share link you send a friend still works later.
  • Grant you access to the Script Vault.
  • Reply to your inquiry.
  • Understand how the site is used in aggregate and prevent abuse of forms and APIs.
04 — Section

Who we share it with

We use a small set of trusted service providers to run the site. Each one only receives the data it needs to do its job.

  • Hosting and database — to serve the site and store your account, game results, and subscriptions.
  • Email delivery — to send the transactional emails you request (game results, Script Vault welcome, requested reports).
  • Newsletter platform — to deliver the newsletter and topic segments you sign up for.
  • Call scheduling — only if you book a call.
  • Analytics — only if you accept the analytics cookie.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. If you want the specific list of providers we use today, email us and we will send it over.

Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep the site working and one optional analytics cookie that only loads if you accept the banner. You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time without breaking the site. The full breakdown lives on the Cookie Policy page.

06 — Section

How long we keep it

  • Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
  • Game results: kept so your share link stays valid. You can ask us to delete a specific result at any time.
  • Script Vault access records: kept while your access is active.
  • Contact form messages: kept long enough to handle the conversation and any follow-up work.
  • Server logs: rolled over in short time windows.
07 — Section

Your choices

Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also:

  • Ask us what data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct or delete it.
  • Ask us to export it.
  • Withdraw analytics consent from your browser settings.

Email hello@thedrawline.com and we will respond within 30 days.

08 — Section

Children

The site is not aimed at anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted their information, email us and we will remove it.

09 — Section

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when we add new tools or change how we handle data. The date at the top of the page reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be announced in the newsletter.
