About these terms

These terms apply to thedrawline.com and every free tool hosted on it (Studio Survival, Panic Mode, Leak Calculator, Client Zoning, Studio Audit, Script Vault, and the newsletter). Paid engagements with The Drawline are covered by a separate written agreement. By using the site you agree to what is on this page.

02 — Section

Who runs the site

The Drawline is owned and operated by Selen Erciyas. You can reach us at hello@thedrawline.com.

03 — Section

What you can do with the content

Everything on the site (writing, diagrams, case studies, game scenarios, tools, code) is owned by The Drawline or used with permission. You can:

  • Read, share, and quote the blog and case studies with a link back.
  • Screenshot your game result and share it.
  • Use the free tools for your own studio work.

You may not:

  • Republish full articles, game scenarios, or scripts as your own.
  • Train AI models on the site's content.
  • Scrape the site or our APIs at volume, or bypass rate limits.
  • Resell Studio Survival, Panic Mode, or the Script Vault contents.
04 — Section

The games and tools

Studio Survival, Panic Mode, Leak Calculator, Client Zoning, and Studio Audit are educational tools. They are based on real experience running a studio but they are not financial, legal, or accounting advice.

Use the output as a starting point. Check numbers with your accountant and decisions with your lawyer before acting on them.

05 — Section

Your account and submissions

When you submit something to the site (email signup, game result, contact form, Script Vault access) you are telling us that:

  • The information is accurate.
  • You are using your own email address, not someone else's.
  • You are not submitting automated or abusive traffic.

We can remove a submission, revoke Script Vault access, or block an email address that violates these terms. How we handle what you submit is covered in the Privacy Policy.

06 — Section

Share links

Game results get a public share link. Anyone with the link can view the result page, so do not use the name field for anything private. You can ask us to delete a specific share link at any time by emailing hello@thedrawline.com.

07 — Section

Third-party links and services

The site links out to external services (social profiles, scheduling, and others). We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content or their own terms. Use them at your own discretion.

08 — Section

No warranty

The site and tools are provided as-is. We do our best to keep everything working, accurate, and available, but we do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, bug-free, or suitable for any specific purpose.

09 — Section

Limit of liability

The Drawline is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or tools (lost revenue, lost data, missed deadlines, business decisions based on a tool's output). Our total liability for any claim related to the free site and tools is capped at $100.

10 — Section

Changes to the site and these terms

We may add, change, or remove pages and tools at any time. We may also update these terms. When we do, the date at the top of the page changes. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
